Lentils are one my family favorite legume! They are a rich source of numerous essential nutrients, particularly dietary fiber and protein so I suggest you to eat them regularly.
This dish is vegetarian so it’s perfect for the meatless night.
My kids love them.
Ingredients for 15 balls:
- 500 grams lentils previously boiled
- 1 boiled potato
- 1 slice of bread
- 1 egg
- 2 spoons of Parmesan cheese
- 2 spoons of bread crumbs
- A sprinkle of love
Boil the potato, peel it, cut it in pieces and add it to the boiled lentils.
Mix everything and add the slice of bread that you previously soaked in milk.
Add the egg, Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, parsley, salt and pepper and gently mix until everything is smooth.
Take a small amount of the dough and start to make your balls, you should be able to make 15 lentils balls.
Now put them in the fridge for 20 minutes until they are firm.
After that roll your ball in the breadcrumbs and fry them in a fry pan with 2 tablespoons of oil.
Voila your lentils balls are done.
Every time I have friends or family over I like to make Salmon and this recipe is one of my favorite. The flavor of the salmon is unbelievable and the salmon will melt in your mouth, I guarantee that if you make it i will be a success.
Ok let’s start
. ¼ cup oil extra virgin
. ¼ cup white wine or water
. 2 cloves of garlic
. ½ lemon
. ¼ teaspoon lemon pepper
. 2 teaspoon soya sauce
. 3 tablespoons Montreal Steak sauce
. A sprinkle of love
In a Pyrex cup mix oil, white wine, garlic, lemon pepper, soya sauce, lemon juice, Montreal steak sauce mix a little bit with a fork.
Bring your baking pan and pour your mixture and then put your salmon in it.
Cover with aluminum paper and let it marinate for few hours in the fridge.
Take you aluminum paper off , put it on a cutting board and gently place your salmon on it, cover the fish completely with the paper and cook it in the oven at 350 for 15/20 minutes or until you will see a white bubble coming out.
For better result put in on a BBQ for 10 minutes or until you see the white part of the fish coming out.

Let’s say the truth, kids don’t like quinoa, at least mine but because it is very healthy they have to eat it.
I did try so many recipe and this is our favorite, hopefully will be yours too.
300 grams quinoa
100 grams carrots cut in small dice
100 grams zucchini cut in small dice
100 grams cornbread mixture or regular breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon fresh parsley or frozen
100 ml oil
A sprinkle of love
First thing you need to wash the quinoa, pour it in 2 cups of boiling water and cook it for 15/20 minutes.
Let it cool down; in the meantime let’s cook the veggies.
In a frying pan put the carrots first add a glass of water and cook them for about 10 minutes and then add the zucchini, a sprinkle of salt , 2 tablespoon of oil and cook them until they are tender.
Let it cool down.
Now it’s time to make our ball so mix the veggie with the quinoa add 2 tablespoon of oil, parsley, salt and pepper and mix with your hand. This part I think is very stress relief.
Take a small piece of mixture, put it in your hand and give it a circle shape.
If does not stick together add some cornbread mix.
Cook them now in the oven for 15/20 minutes.
