CLASSIC ITALIAN LEVEL I

$ 180 for 4 classes or  $ 45 for drop in

Please note that this class price will be in effect from January 1/2017

Four week course, single classes available for 45 dollar each If you want to learn Italian cooking, this is the course for you. Ideal for the beginner cooks, you will learn how to make fresh pasta from scratch with few different cuts, you will also learn gnocchi and sauces, risotto, tiramisu and pasta without eggs.

  • Winter 2017 Session Options:

  • Wednesdays, 7:00 – 9:30 p.m. (Classes run January  18, 25, February 1 and February 8  )

  • Maximum of 6 participants

    • Gnocchi with butter and sage, gnocchi with meat sauce and Panna Cotta.
    • Fresh egg pasta, meat sauce and agnolotti stuffed with ricotta and spinach.
    • Risotto alla Milanese, Broth and Tiramisu.
    • Fresh pasta without eggs with  4 different sauces, chicken piccata.

Fresh eggs pasta and sauces

Let’s  learn how to make fresh pasta with few different sauces like: meat sauce, mushroom sauce, simple tomatoes sauce and ham, peas and whipping cream sauce.

  • Saturday February 22 and 25/2017.
  • Class run in the morning from 10.30 to 1
  • Max of 6 people

Gnocchi party

Let’s learn how to make one of the most tradition Italian dish: gnocchi.We will make potato gnocchi and pumpkin gnocchi with few different sauces like: butter and sage, meat sauce, alla sorrentina{ tomatoes sauce and lots of mozzarella}.

  • Saturday  January 21 and February 18/2017 
  • Class runs in the morning from 10.00 to 1

CLASSIC ITALIAN LEVEL 1

Eight week course, single classes available for 35 dollar each and $50 for lasagna.

If you want to learn Italian cooking, this is the course for you. Ideal for the beginner cooks, you will learn how to make fresh pasta from scratch with few different cuts, you will also learn gnocchi and sauces, risotto, tiramisu, minestrone, chicken parmiggiana and lasagna.Price is 250 dollar.

Fall 2016 Session Options:

  • Wednesdays, 7:00 – 9:30 p.m. (Classes run October 5, 12,19,26 November 2, 9, 16, and 23)Maximum of 6 participants

CLASSES

  • Gnocchi with butter and sage and gnocchi alla sorrentina with tomatoes sauce and mozzarella, panna cotta.
  • Fresh egg pasta, meat sauce and cannelloni stuffed with ricotta and spinach.
  • Broth and  risotto alla milanese and pumpking risotto
  • Tiramisu and Cannelloni
  • Baked pasta with red sauce and meatball.
  • Dinner in 30 minutes  { pasta with butter or oil and chicken and spinach cutlets }
  • Fresh pasta without eggs,sauces, chicken parmiggiana.
  • Lasagna – this class is 3 1/2 hours long.

To run the class I need at least 4 people to max 6.

Lasagna

Let’s learn how to make a real authentic Lasagna, the Italian way.We will make the fresh pasta, meat sauce, beschamel sauce and we will put everything together.

  • Sunday September 25, October 16 and Nov 13
  • Class run from 10.30 to 1.30.

  • Price 50 dollar and include recipes and a small tray of lasagna made by you to bring home to taste with your family, size of the pan 8×8.

Fundraiser for Amatrice: Eartquake Victims

On the night of August 24 the Center of Italy was hit by a terrible eartquake. Many people lost their life and the more “lucky” lost their home and everything that they had. Amatrice, a small wonderful town where the Amatriciana sauce was born, got completely destroyed. Im hosting few cooking classes to help these people that don’t have anything. The 70 % of the proceeds will be send to Italian Red Cross, with the 30% I will cover the cost of the food for the classes.
Bucatini Amatriciana is a typical italian dish, born in Amatrice, made with Bucatini and with a sauce made with tomato, guanciale or good bacon and Pecorino.
The cost of the class is donation starting at 20 dollar, it will be a fun night full of food.We will make the typical dish and then we will seat and enjoy it maybe with a glass of wine if you wanna bring it.
Come to learn and give some love to these people that have don’t have anything anymore.The class will be on Wednesday September the 28 at 6.30 in Langley. Message me for detail for the location marzia@bellacibo.ca.
